Ernesto Juan (Ernie) de la Fé is the
second of 7 children of Juana Luisa (Nena) Vadillo Iturrioz and Ernesto G. de la Fé, and
the grandson of Juana Catalina (Cuca)
Iturrioz and Alberto Vadillo. His paternal grandparents were Juan de la
Fé and Manuela Flores. He was born on September 22, 1953. Ernie
married Silvia Maria Matos on June 18, 1977, and together they have four
boys: Ernest Joseph, born July 13, 1980; Brian Charles, born November 18, 1983;
Steven Albert, born July 3, 1987; and Pedro Juan (Peter), born April 15, 1991.
The
de la Fés live in Pinecrest, a suburb of Miami, Florida. Ernie is an
attorney (desperately trying to retire) and Silvia is an accountant who works
for Nipro Medical, a Japanese medical equipment manufacturer. Ernie Sr. graduated
from Florida Atlantic University and then attended the University of Miami
School of Law, graduating in 1985. Silvia obtained her accounting degree
from FIU.
Ernie Jr. is an
Industrial Engineer having graduated from Georgia Tech in 2003. Brian is
currently an accounting student at the University of Florida and is considering
attending law school after graduation. Steven is having a good time at the
University of Central Florida, and Peter will be entering Miami Palmetto High
School in the Fall of 2005.

is
the author of this Family Directory, which is dedicated to the memory of his
mother, Nena Vadillo de la Fé.
